At the time of the 1841 Census, Thomas was living at The Park in North Lopham - 15, male servant, living in the household of Lucy MORNAMENT? (60, farmer). On 23 October 1862 he had a medical examination, "Having examined Private Thomas Emms I am of opinion he is unfit for further service owing to varicose state of veins both leg". Thomas was discharged on 11 November 1862 in Chatham , total service 16 years and 14 days. |
